Canon Germany and NewSoft demonstrates
Presto! VideoWorks 4.5 at IFA

Taipei, Taiwan. Sept. 5, 2001 -- NewSoft, a leading provider of innovative software solution for imaging peripherals is the official bundled software found with Canon Germany's new DV camcorders - high-end models MV4i and MV4i MC. During IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) Canon has been exhibiting NewSoft's Presto! VideoWorks. IFA is the most important international consumer electronics trade fair in Europe. Approximately 50% of the DV Camcorders sold by Canon Germany will use Presto! VideoWorks 4.5 as the video editing solution. NewSoft is forecasting a 30% growth in demand for their video editing products in the European market this year.

Later this September JVC Victor will have a booth focusing the DV camcorder and its use at World PC EXPO in Japan. The show will be held between September 19 and 22. In JVC's booth NewSoft Japan will introduce the DV connection Kit that includes Presto! VideoWorks to show participants.
